Lighting is everything! Lighting experts know that if you want to set a particular mood, then the most important aspect of that mood is the light. If you have ever thought about having a psychic event, then how you set the lights and the level of intensity can either make or break the event. Here are a few facts about the world of psychics, how they are able to go beyond what we are used to and how to set up your next event.

He may also give you insights based on his intuition, depending on his experience and ability to communicate what comes to him. A clairvoyant is quite similar to a tarot reader in that she allows her intuition to guide the session, however she is not limited to using cards. The word means “clear sight” which is significant for understanding how they are able to see things that most people can’t. She has developed her five senses over time and has practiced using those senses in helping others go beyond their physical world.
Typically, a psychic such as this could use the sense of touch either directly or with a personal item belonging to the questioner. Since energy can be easily transferred, anything that person comes in contact with over an extended period of time, can offer enough information about the person for a reading.
A medium is one who has the ability and experience to communicate with the spirit world, bridging the gap between those that has passed away and those who are still grieving for them. This work can be very intense because it deals with a lot of strong emotions. The medium also uses his senses to detect subtle changes within him and knows how to convey those changes to the inquirer. However, do be aware that even though you may wish to communicate with one particular spirit, the psychic has very limited control over who comes through and who doesn’t. If you are planning an event involving psychic work, then lighting will be important. Give yourself some time to plan first. Factor in location, number of guests, seating, video or audio taping, etc. lighting will be much more important if you plan on filming the session as opposed to a simple, informal gathering. If you are expecting a large audience, then low level lighting for the audience and a soft spot light for the reader and inquirer is plenty. If just a small, intimate group, then soft, low key lighting is perfect. The key here is setting the proper mood.
If you are planning a medium session with the intention of contacting a deceased loved one, then in addition to lighting, you may wish to add music, candles and anything used by the person while they were still alive. That concentrated effort could be the pull the spirit may need to communicate. Take your time and be willing to explore multiple possibilities, not just with lights but setting the scene as a whole. The most relaxed the participants are, the more success you can obtain with your event.
